Microsoft has recently released the public preview of Power Platform pipelines. This new feature is aimed at democratizing Power Platform deployments for citizen developers. It simplifies the process into a few simple clicks from within the maker experience.
The feature is still in its early stages, with a tremendous amount of potential. The first release simply allows users to deploy solution across environments.
This post covers the set-up process to enable the feature in your environments.
First you will need to select an existing or create a new Dataverse instance as the host that managed the pipeline configuration.
Then install the app by navigating to Dynamics 365 apps from the admin centre. This will enable a model driven app dedicated to the configuration of pipelines across your tenancy.
The official documentation can be found here.
Stay tuned for the second part on how to run configure the pipeline and deploy a solution.
